educational Consultation & schOOl support

Bridging the gap between families and schools.

Understanding school evaluations, special education services, and educational support systems can be overwhelming. Families often have questions about what evaluation results mean, whether their child’s needs are being addressed, or how to communicate effectively with school teams. Drawing on extensive experience in school psychology, special education, school-based mental health services, and educational leadership, we help parents make sense of the information, understand their options, and participate confidently in decisions about their child’s education.

Services may include:

● Review and interpretation of psychoeducational evaluations and educational records

● Review of IEPs, Section 504 plans, and other school support documents

● Parent consultation to discuss concerns, strengths, and educational needs

● Explanation of school-based processes, terminology, and procedures

● Identification of areas for further discussion, evaluation, or support

● Preparation for school meetings and assistance developing meaningful questions

● Attendance and consultation during school-based meetings, when appropriate

● Collaboration with school personnel and other providers, with family permission

Whether you’re considering an evaluation, trying to understand an existing plan, or preparing for an important school meeting, educational consultation can help you connect the pieces and move forward with greater clarity.
